The worst comedy on the planet is Mrs Brown's Boys. And somehow that got made into a film. Not if you are English & have N. Irish relatives

I've seen Gervais on many occasions in the East Village, he obviously lives somewhere in that neighbourhood. Also a Big Arsenal fan *Willoism*

Me and a good mate were crying with laughter the last time we watched the one where they're at the woodcutting yard and were going round the dust removal system.

I saw it on Friday. As mentioned, tv shows do not always work well in movie format, and this suffers as well at times. However, I still really enjoyed it. If you liked The Office you will find plenty to like here too.

I just don't enjoy cringe worthy comedy. I have to walk out the room. give me old fashion only fools and horses or black adder kind of comedy anyday.

Oh dear. Really disappointed in it to be honest. Not nearly enough funny bits and the whole thing felt to me like a Ricky Gervais ego trip, an excuse for him to sing on camera. The ending to The Office was absolutely perfect, shame he couldn't just leave it there.
