I didn't ask any of you who's better, or request a "dead-off" whatever that is. I expressed an opinion about her talent, like you did, only a bit more respectfully than you did as it happens.

Although probably not Victoria Wood. I'd say that the two are too different to compare. Victoria Wood was a great writer of comedy, and Aherne more of a performer. Now feel free. On the actual subject, I quite liked her and especially for not flogging a dead horse of Mrs Merton too long. Although not as good as people are claiming now she's dead, she certainly wasn't s**t.
