I don't wanna see Zaha, Townsend, Benteke or McArthur out there. Scratch them, put out strongest squad possible with what's left and hope for the best

We are not going to be relegated, our squad is not thin. Think back to our first season under Holloway, that was a poor squad. Yes we can always build, but a squad quality has its problems keeping them all happy. Our defence is thin take out Dann and DD and we are then down to playing players out of position.

Why risk injures to our 1st team players? We learned that from last season, so we don't need a reptition. A second team will suffice for this, PL is top priority. Good point but I would like us to win something, maybe this year is too early and we should strengthen further. Sometimes you just have to roll the dice Parrot

Mix of fringe players....Lee, mutch, Kelly, fryers, players who want to prove a point....hennessey, delaney, wickham, plus players who need game time, Sako, Cabaye, maybe a couple of youngsters thrown in ( like the look of dreyer) , could put together a pretty decent team. Sure soit hampton won't be playing a full strength team...

Hennessey, Fryers et al need as much match fitness as possible. Must concentrate on keeping winning in the home and away fixtures. After Sunderland we have more difficult opponents. We need the points and the momentum.

[Link] Alan Pardew's decision today could mean Crystal Palace duo are set for landmark appearances [Link] Alan Pardew looks set to play either Wayne Hennessey or Julian Speroni in tonight's EFL Cup clash at Southampton. Welshman Hennessey has a World Cup qualifier coming up in two weeks and is likely to need some game time. However, Eagles legend Speroni could become the new record holder of the most appearances for a goalkeeper at the club in all competitions if he plays. Steve Mandanda is expected to be rested ahead of the weekend trip to Sunderland. Who should Pardew pick? Palace, fans vote and tell us, below!

Whoever is playing, if it's a draw in the 89th minute, someone needs to score an own goal and sharpish
