..one day they may allow us fans to have a game played with the correct outcome, the keeper was beaten well before any attempt by McArthur, they need massive help with officiating.

So why was it when Mcarthur scored against villa last season at home , it was disallowed ( after the fourth official was involved) for offside , tonight the fourth official was not consulted? Or is it just me ? Is that too many questions?
So I broke into the Palace , with a sponge and a rusty spanner |

Does it make it worse that Lino gave Damo as offside & not Macca? The sorry excuse for an explanation given by the Sky pundits, whilst technically correct, turns out to be bol****s (assuming the Lino doesn't change his story once he realises what a cockwomble he's been).
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Or is it just me ? Is that too many questions? I was at that Villa game and although on first look it seemed a mad decision replays showed that MacArthur touched it and was clearly offside. Tonight was different. Yes he was offside but he was not in the keepers eyeline or interfered with his attempt to save it. In fact the Everton keeper or any of their players for that matter protested when it went in.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I'm a tad bemused because looking at the replay, the assistant didn't raise his flag when Delaney headed the ball but only raised it just after McArthur made a movement towards the ball.Maybe his comments were mis-interpreted. If he has given McArthur offside I can totally understand given he went for the ball whilst standing in an offside position.Whether this put off the keeper or not is irrelevant. But it is very difficult for assistants in these situations and given what I have seen on TV they do an excellent job overall. I was wondering about the everton goal..I thought that a" high foot" foul meant an indirect free kick so how come they scored from it with nobody else touching it ?
Touch my coffee and I will slap you so hard even Google won't be able to find you. |

In real time it really was difficult to see there was no contact made with Jagielka. We all have the benefit of SKY "Slo-Mos" from various angles.
