Can someone explain why he'd leave a side vying for the title, where he is club captain, to come and fight in a relegation battle in South London???

I don't think any footballer has any loyalty or integrity, Chuck a load of money at him,and he will suddenly weigh up his options. So far any big player we did sign has been a disappointment. It's the unproven,hard working, hungry players that have been more of a success. Can't see this one happening, and the last player who plied his trade in Spain, campana, was, yes you guessed it a let down.

They have the same loyalty to their employers as we all do to ours. Some of us will change jobs at the drop of a hat - for a few quid more or for better prospects. Others are comfortable with the jobs they have - think its close to home and are settled - and don't move around a lot
