You can't tell clearly whether he meant it or not. Though, Costa's reputation does go before him. Calling for the physio after the incident, was that genuine concern for Dann or trying to hideaway from the fact that he had been booked ? Guess we'll never know.

I Think Costa realised he caught Dann, and that's why he immediately called for the ref - for once there was no malice in it! However, a SA is reported to have saidy: is that a Mistake? Ward didn't seem to be anywhere near the incident in all the replays I've seen.
