I always remember my dad laughing at me when I went to one of my first non-league games aged 16 because I called one of the players "son". Now I actually am older than every player on the pitch.

I feel old when I walk home from work and there are a couple of teenage girls in front of me in short skirts so I have to walk a significantly longer route home so as not to worry them that I might be a creepy old pervert (although I am).

I actually feel quite old that I've decided to take the plunge and just start going to Palace on my own as none of my friends or family are up for it any more (my dad says he's too old and my mates are always just looking after the kids or whatever). That's not the old part, I've deliberately bought my ticket for the Huddersfield game in the main stand with all the old codgers so I can just keep myself to myself and watch most of the football (I bought restricted view on purpose to save money).

You need to spend 90 minutes moaning about the restricted view also. that'll cement it.
