What is the point of calling Parish out now? The season has started and we are in sh1t shape. We have changed manager and can't sign any players so now is the time to suck it up and get on with supporting the team even though it's pretty depressing right now. The time to demand answers is summer next year when we know how the season turned out. The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

What is the point of calling Parish out now? The season has started and we are in sh1t shape. We have changed manager and can't sign any players so now is the time to suck it up and get on with supporting the team even though it's pretty depressing right now. The time to demand answers is summer next year when we know how the season turned out.

With data company firmly predicting our crashing out of the Premiership,it is also being reported that Dyche may well be in the frame to replace Wenger in the future,as we prepare for life in the Championship. Missed opportunity??

Missed opportunity?? I seem to recall that at the time when the potential managers were being discussed no-one wanted Dyche giving Burnley's poor away record as one of the reasons why. Let's also not forget that it was only just over a year ago that the media were touting Pardew for the England manager's job and we all know how that one panned out.

There were claims it was a stable choice, the next Allardyce, prem experience etc.

A lot of it was very logical. And this is the key bit. Frank was not.

Hell, Dyche even has experience bouncing back up. But that relegation puts doubt there, whereas Frank has only really managed the biggest club by far in one of the now smallest leagues around. I said it then that Jordan was right and that received a barrage of sh1t on that thread.

He also said that his 'three at the back' idea best suited our current squad, so any idea that he was expecting major backing in the transfer market holds no water. He was convinced, in short, that he was a tactical genius who could impose his 'system' on any squad. It all begs the question, what did he and Parish discuss at interview? We just have to hope that Roy can somehow stop us getting cut adrift until January and that we can then strengthen the areas we should have done in the summer.
