Looking at an Ipswich fans' website it's clear the fans there rate him highly and, as they are the ones who have watched him over the last few seasons, that may count for something.

I don’t know if it means anything but he’s playing for Ipswich against Fulham tonight imo if he was on his way he’d be preserved isn’t that how these potential transfers work ?

By all means get rid of Speroni or Hennessy at the end of the season and sign this guy as a reserve if the scouts rate him. But surely hes not a proper first choice? We've had 4 keepers in the past few seasons all of similar calibre and none of them quite good enough. Can we just sign a proven decent goalkeeper?

To be honest, based on results, I think Roy has earned a little bit of faith in his judgement. If he thinks that Hennessy, Speroni and this bloke will be good enough to see us through to the end of the season then I will be willing to trust him.

However, the way Wayne and Jules have been playing I don't think we need an upgrade atm.
