I put that down mostly to him being played as a striker Not all wingers can make a decent striker. You’d not see giggs, beckham, kanchelskis, Barnes, Robben as strikers butcwe ask it of him. He’s probably pissed cos he knows that’s not what he is

I have to agree with Matthau, Wilf seems very frustrated in that striker role..he just can't seem to find his way through the middle. I do wish he'd get up off the pitch a little bit quicker every time he is actually fouled or thinks he was fouled.

Coukd be a frustrating day for him today. Warnock will have his players winding him up at every opportunity. .

It seems late last year and certainly this year the opponents seem to know how to wind him up. They know that his frustration builds. he loses his temper and becomes totally ineffective. A goal would do wonders for his self esteem.

Wilf had always had a short fuse. It's him. It's his make up. Let's just let him play how he plays. Sadly as his city booking proved, refs let him down consistently. He was clearly fouled, yet it was ignored. Par for the course in all honesty.

Teams know to have an off the ball or late leg flick/trip, which may be afoul according to the ref but not a card so wilf gets wound up and goes a bit sulky Wilf deadly when receiving the ball on the run, nearly scored if not for their keeper. Wilf getting the ball stood still created very little today.

Just seen this stat.... Wilfried Zaha has neither scored or assisted a Premier League goal in his last 11 appearances. For anyone playing In his position, don't think it's good enough. For someone with wilfs skills and reputation , I find it very worrying. Can't help feeling he's playing with an injury. Either that or he's not a happy chappy at palace at the moment. ..

I suppose the good thing - the only good thing - about Wilf's poor form and poor discipline is that they considerably reduce the chances of another club coming in for him. Who would be willing to pay a hefty sum for someone who may be carrying a niggling injury and who seems to have developed a persecution complex and is given to sulking?

He's got the hump. Good for him. He earns in a week what it takes me a year to earn. Grow up or farq off. Current performances suggest a player who is thinking elsewhere.

When you are put through, with only the goalkeeper to beat, please try doing just that...………

"Assists" like "expected goals" are another statistic that tells about a quarter of the story. All three goals against City involved Wilf and wouldn't have happened without him.
