Definitely Streatham always has had prostitutes. I was just getting into my car a few years ago now when I heard a call from someone, and she came over to the car and asked me if I wanted business. Really quite nice looking Irish girl about 25/30. I was typically useless and actually apologised to her making some lame excuse. What we would have done in an Austin Metro in broad daylight I can't imagine.

when we were painting at mayday hospital one evening my brother was gob smacked to be asked if he wanted a bitof business as she nodded to an empty changing cubicle in out patients.

My wife and I have seen ladies touting for business in Spain in broad daylight.Evidently business is conducted amongst the olive groves and I suspect places well away from prying eyes.
