Injuries or not, we should be capable of passing and moving the ball. Basics. Well outplayed and it does make you realise that we need significant spending on players who are comfortable on the ball.

Well that was absolutely dire. Never seen us so obviously looking for a 0-0. I know the injury crisis is to blame, but this is embarrassing.
Benteke... What a waste of space. And not only does he contribute nothing, the fact that he's playing has forced the one decent striker we do have to play on the wing. Disgrace.

we have McCarthy meyer and camarasa on the bench, surely wilf and ayew as a two and rejig the midfield into a four, cant believe Benteke will come out for the second half

We're usually better in the second half when we have to chase the game. We haven't conceded yet so we could nick this playing as badly as are. Hardly the first time we would have had a rubbish game but won somehow.

We are really missing PvA and Townsend. Riedewald looks off the pace and badly out of position. 433 isn't working today. I would give Zaha freedom of the pitch, put Ayew back up top and bring Tekkers off for Meyer or Camarassa. We desperately need someone who can pass the ball on the pitch!

In his defence he’s had no crosses to attack and the ball isn’t being pinched into him. It’s being lumped well above him, he’s winning it in the air but no support.
The midfield 3 have been bloody awful!
