I first came to Selhurst over 50 years ago and there have been many who have pulled my heartstrings.

Well at different points I might have said Dougie or Wilf but both have dropped in my estimations for differing reasons. Of the ones who haven't done anything to annoy me, it has to be Jules number one. A true club legend. Simon Rodger, Aki and Clinton up there as well. Lombardo the best ever and the one I'd wish we'd have seen more of is Matt Jansen, who could have been world class.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

From different eras so many to choose from. I have to agree with a few already mentioned.

Peter Taylor (as a player!)- fantastic player, great to watch, great on both feet, tricky and quick, hammer of a shot, nightmare to defend against.
