the kind of player that would suit our play style,
the skill set of the player,
how much we can afford to pay (transfer/wages/agents fees)
which players are currently looking for a move
those players that appear to have the skills to do well in the premier league
the attractiveness of a move to Croydon compared to other potential locations,
other offers being put to all these players...

Who do suggest we go for?

They would have to buy in a replacement, which once they do that would allow Mateta to move on? A bit of a long shot I admit
