They have a lot of options going forward and are looking pretty tight at the back. My big worries are their strength on set-pieces with players like Soucek absolute beasts in the air, and Bowen v PvA.

Having watched Benrahma last Friday I can say I'm glad we got Eze instead. SB got a lot of plaudits for his performance against Leeds but I thought he wasted countless opportunities and misplaced loads of passes (cue Benrahma scoring against us tomorrow!) He doesn't look like a player you would warm to, not like our Eze. The West Ham way is that Benrahma will be amazing for half a season and then for no apparent reason will turn awful and end up on the bench with their 12 other wingers.

Anyway, I think it's going to be a really tough game but we'll sneak it 2-1 with the Eze-Bentenke-Zaha-Schlupp force bringing down the hammers.

My fears re their set piece beasts (not just Soucek) and my thoughts regarding Benrahma. Eze cost less and has far more potential. Also Benrahma looks to be only interested in Benrahma. He expended too much effort trying to look good and not enough looking to see where his team mates were and which ones were making good runs. Glad we don't have him (like you say - cue, he scores against us).

2-1 seems almost everyone's predicted score (one way or the other). Even Lawro and his adversary for this round have gone 2-1, Lawro for the Spammers and the other guy for us (after saying he found it difficult to decide which of us would get the 2 and which the 1).

My prediction is a 2-2 draw - we do tend to score at their place and get better results than at Selhurst. Previous seasons since we came back up reveal 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats at their ground - not a bad record.
