Ward over Clyne?
Unless he is injured he is match fit and fast - Ward is neither.
Why do that - it makes no sense.
Three defensive changes again.
I hope to be proved wrong but an idiotic move in my eyes

It's basically the team I would have picked. Ayew and Andros both work hard which at least should help stop us from getting overrun. I really hope we create some chances for Mateta tonight as the poor bloke has had zero service so far.

Given our situation it's probably the best lineup/formation we can do at the moment. Now it's just up to the players.

It makes perfect sense. Brighton is a tall team that will be loving every corner. Ward is much better in the air than Clyne. Also, he's on Kouyate's side, so you have some cover for speed. Finally, Ward has a better rapport with Townsend.
