Bollox, typical Palace 2-2. Kirby & Gordon on as subs
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Too much sloppiness from these "non first teamers" Also the intensity in ball movement hasn't really been there tonight

Palace got what they deserved in this game, nothing. This pass out from the back is not going to work imho

My Summary Banks and Rak-Sakyi both look very promising. Perhaps with a loan move and a bit of growth/ bulk they'll be ready to push for the first team. Kelly is not an option as fullback cover. Guehi looks assured and will help us play out from the back (although did get caught once). Whether those around him are up to it we'll see. Tomkins looked uncomfortable a few times in possession but he wasn't playing with a full strength midfield ahead of him. Jach confirming he'll be going out on loan again after his mistake which lead to their equaliser. Transfers The good thing is the club seem to be addressing most of the above.

Another pre-season game, that leaves more questions than answers.

Its a friendly game where the main thing is everyone gets a run out, only 1 or 2 will even start against Chelsea, that's what friendly's are for.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

No shape or plan going forward, needs fixing. Jach should be nowhere near the first team, not good enough. 4 more players required Anderson, Madueke, Gallagher and Edouard.

I'm not sure what game i was watching, but it did not look that bad. Considering a lot of the youngsters had not played with the few first teamers on show, i thought it was ok. Charlton had virtually a full strength league one team who all play regularly with each other. Plus points - Guehi looks class, Rak-Sakyi will be a star, Banks not far behind (probably needs to bulk up a bit). Also consider the players not playing tonight - Zaha, Eze, Olise, and Benteke, Plus McArthur and Schlupp only came on after an hour. Andersen likely to join us tomorrow. Our full strength team will be more than ok and the youngsters will continue to improve with more game time
