I have been uncharacteristically optimistic this season. Unlike previous seasons I forecast some wins. But I've been wrong. I still think we'll click into top gear soon. Really hope it's against the @rse.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

With PV coming back I think it will be one of those games where you have to rip up the form book and sensible predictions. He'll have the lads fired up and even without the PV effect it would be a cracking match. I'm going to go with a sports journalists wet dream and go 3-2 Palace win thanks to a 96th minute wonder goal from CG.

Lawrenson played under Mullery at Brighton. Maybe that tells you everything as to why he always has us down to lose (although having said that I think the one point he predicted us getting was against Brighton!) If I ever meet him I'll be sure to throw a few coins at his feet to let him know what his punditry is worth.

I don't read what Lawrenson predicts. He may have been quite good at football once, but his opinion is no better than any Tom Dick or Harry down the pub. He's also an annoying old git who the bbc should really put out to pasture.

Out of the 7 games so far we've played both played the same 4 teams. Their record is: On that basis, we have performed better. After letting in 5 vs Man City, they've concerned 1 in the last 5. I can't seeing us having the firepower to win this one.
