Love it, well done Mitchell Under Roy he got his chance but would be have progressed, don't think so, so well done current CP management. Is his Dad on here?? and I have watched!!! Ps Tyrick likes to leave the pitch last, have you noticed that? PS thank you to Wilf as well for helping out more on the left side. We have a team.. hate to say it but M.City would pay £100m for him!! maybe will hold out for more!!

He has been an asset to Mitchell this season putting in a shift tackling back. I was always of the view that Andros was the making of AWB. He was amazing that season in his defensive work. Slightly different point is that any defender playing behind Wilf has a significant advantage given Wilf still tends to take two players with him and that he most invariably cuts inside. The smarts of PV has been to recognise this and make certain Mitchell stays wide. Really happy for Tyrick but question whether he is really international quality - as yet. Don't see that he will benefit to anything like the same degree up a level and his general play in attack is still relatively workaday and defensive solidity only takes you so far.

Congratulations Tyrick. He's improved immensely since he's been promoted to our first team. It's a great advert for our club and academy that we now have 3 players in the current England set up. I imagine it'll be a real positive when it comes to summer recruitment. What a positive week this has been It is, except they were not all from our academy😁

In addition to Gallagher and Guéhi, you can add in there Mason Mount, and consider that Tammy Abraham pulled out. Even Declan Rice was once on Chelsea's books. Ignoring the whole Russian money thing... they are the benchmark we should aspire to.

According to a profile piece on him on the BBC his Dad is not in the picture and hasn't been since he was a boy. A player you can't help but want to see do well. He's also a great example that working hard and taking advice onboard will take you a long way, as he is definitely a player who has been on an upward trajectory rather than coming in as a readymade star like AWB did. What amazes me is that every time I've seen a weakness in his game within a few weeks it seems to disappear. He is so calm in possession, has good positional sense, sticks tight to his man and is quick. Hopefully he will return from his England experience an even better player.

That fella shouting for his boy was probably his boyhood coach Abdi Farah who persuaded him when he was little that he had a talent worth working on.

Nice piece about Tyrick in The Times today, and you're right Slimey, Farah has been like a surrogate father to the boy. The article is by Tom Roddy entitled "He'd cook for his siblings then rush off to training" in the paper and probably online. Uphill managed to link into yesterday's article about Vieira, so perhaps he can find this one. Anyway, it's another warm, Palace read. Hope he's in the team on Saturday.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I find it quite funny that the BBC Football site has written a piece titled "Who is England and Palace's Tyrick Mitchell".

Click bait suggesting a tussle between Chelsea Liverpool and Spurs for his signature this summer. Chelsea can have a swap with Gallagher if they like otherwise they can all f off.

Tayo will be in the Irish team soon enough - if not already. I didn't look at any announcements by them. Kenny picking all youngsters in general. It's an interesting experiment to see how it will pan out in the next few years.
