Penalties - should Zaha continue to take them?

Has to be someone else. Wilf has one of the best shots in football. He can blast it into the corner from 25 yards with virtually no back lift. That he can’t score a pen from 12 yards with no defenders on him means it is clearly a mental thing. And you don’t fix those quickly and certainly not when we are heading into the business end of the season. Any other team / player - miss two pens and you would give it to someone else.

In the PL, Zaha from the penalty spot has scored 7 and missed 4.

A very poor penalty today he must have been watching the WC, too close to the ball no run-up, soft, goalkeeper had it covered. Luka was the penalty expert I don't know the current situation but we can't afford to drop points, it is proving too costly.

The only times I can remember us being any good at penalties were AJ's just off centre ones, and Luka a couple of seasons ago. If I remember correctly even the 1990 side had the odd dodgy penalty moment. We're just not that good at them. How many did FFS miss?

I beg to differ. Not saying he is rubbish, but he doesn't have one of the best shots in football. Whilst much improved, I'd go so far to say its one of the weaker sides to his game. He has, on occasion blasted it into the corner from 25 yards, but lets be honest, I doubt if he's scored more than 5 goals outside the box in his carer. Agree on pens though, he's only taking them because he shouts the loudest, and we want to keep him happy.
