Istanbul is different from the rest of turkey. Its where east meets west and they absolutely hate Christians. When I told a guy that asked what flavour of Christianity I was and I said not really religious, he reacted like i'd killed his favourite wife!!!

I was attacked three times, once with a knife! While I was there someone attacked the main police station with an RPG!!!

I know mate, I don't know what Wilf's thinking. However, he will likely live separately in a compound for tourists/rich people/celebrities. In relation to whether we’ll have a team ready for the start of the season I’m hopeful we will. On the basis that we don’t lose other players we should be able to field the same back four and a midfield 4 of Ayew , Doucoure, Lerma/Hughes and Schlupp which has a sold look about it with tenacity and balance . This would leave Eze in an advanced free role between one of our current strikers or dare I say a new one. It may not be a side with a lot of goals in it, but it should be able to compete against most of the teams.
