The way it's looking Trump, in spite of whatever he says, will get another 4 years too. He's said worse suff before and still got the votes he needed. Biden doesn't look strong enough to counter him so unless something drastic changes could be looking at a 2nd term for him.

I had to smile this morning when listening to a hospital consultant from Middlesbrough being interviewed on Radio 5 by Rachel Burden. He said that there was no shortage of PPE in his hospital and that there was plenty of capacity with spare beds and ventilators etc. He also said that none of the nursing staff were working overtime. Just the sort of thing that BBC doesn't want to hear

I watch what's happening in the USA possibility rather more than most because I have many American friends and relatives who live there. What's happening there both amazes and distresses me in equal measure and as it impacts us too it also concerns me. So I don't think it can just be ignored.
