The guy is an international player for a good side ffs. He is a great squad player for what we paid for him. However, as far as changing opinions, that takes a human being who can admit they were actually wrong.

I have long thought that we would do best with Wilf and Andros either side of a good striker who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. Ayew isn't much of a striker but for now I'd put him up top in a rotating 3 with Wilf and Andros. Decent performance today.

I was against re-signing him, but he was really good today. I wonder if he's been working on his upper body strength as he was so much stronger in possession. Shame he didn't put the chance away that his performance deserved.

I watched the whole match live in Brazil and the Brazilian commentators who know a bit about football thought he is a good honest player who puts in a shift. I thought he had a good game apart from the one on one miss.
