He isn't going anywhere!

Just listened to Johnson's statement and Starmer's response.

To my mind the best speech I have ever heard from Starmer. Passionate, full of genuine emotion and reason.

Johnson was just Johnson. Diversion and avoidance. Talking about everything other his own responsibilities.

Boris is a liar.

He will shrug and get on with it. He'd rather save his own skin now, and take the Government and Tories down at the next election

Blackford being thrown out is the best news of the day so far - I cannot abide that man!

That's fair enough if you don't like him, but clearly the prime minister did lie and mislead the house so he was correct in what he said.

Me neither Dolphin.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

The Met has been handed more than 300 photos, Commander Catherine Roper told the media the investigation will not last "more than a year".

I’m a conservative, have been for many years however if he is still in charge next election I shall not be voting for them. He needs to take responsibility and that means graciously resigning. Way too much water under the bridge now.

Time to draw breath, reflect on what the report says, Johnson's response and the reaction of MPs.

I think he is in very big trouble. The report may be short of detail, but it's damning. Johnson's response was woeful. He says he "gets it", but he obviously doesn't. No apology, just more deflection and re-organisation. Any football team suffering this many own goals wouldn't trust the manager responsible for organising the defence to re-organise it. They would change him, and start again.

We'll see. They are all in a meeting right now, and I bet he is being given a very hard time. I don't think it can possibly now be if he will go, but only when. It's not just Johnson who risks being toast. Many of his colleagues will be too, if they don't act.

Perfect timing for the rebels. Leave Boris in charge for this year then sack him when the report finally arrives which gives the new leader 2 years or so before the GE.

Me neither Dolphin.

Why, as Johnson has lied and misled the Commons?

And everybody else, apologising to the monarch and investigated by the police.

He has never done anything else.

9/10 people want him to resign, it would be a relief if true.

BJ now disappearing to sort out Ukraine crisis,...
[Link]
"Boris Johnson will travel to Ukraine on Tuesday for talks with the country's president, amid rising concerns over a possible Russian invasion.

The UK prime minister promised to work with Volodymyr Zelensky to find a diplomatic solution to arguments with Moscow and "avoid further bloodshed".

Russia has massed tens of thousands of troops near its border with Ukraine in recent weeks." (BBC website)
BJ really is a fcking coward. Running away to 'sort' something that doesn't actually exist, and that he can have no possible influence on, because every international leader thinks he is a useless c-unit.

How much vodka will he bring back in his suitcase ? or preferably,...GO, and don't come back.
