Todays first download is a recent set by Deep Purple that was recorded in Oslo, Norway in December 2011. This is in superb quality and the audio taken from a soundboard source. The show is performed with an orchestra - the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt Orchestra and they play all the bands old classics. The band are touring at the moment in support of their new album "Phoenix Rising" - an album I've posted as part of a discography I posted a while back. Todays second download is a set by Kiss that was recorded on the bands "Farewell Tour" of 2000. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding show by the band. There is some doubt as to the actual date of this show - it says on the artwork 7th October 2000 - but I saw somewhere that the actual date was 27th of June 2000. It doesn't matter - the music is the main thing and that's top notch. If you like Kiss - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by guitar legend Carlos Santana that was recorded in Michigan on the 25th May 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a pre-fm broadcast of the show. This is only a short set - so it's probably not the whole show - rather only what was broadcast. It's still great stuff and a top show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Paul Weller that was recorded at the BBC's London Theatre in April 2010. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a BBC FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a few boots by PW over the years - this is another top sounding show with some great tracks on it. If you like Paul Weller you will want this one... thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by America that was recorded for the BBC in 1973. I don't have any further information as to when and where. The quality is superb - the audio taken from an FM broadcast of the show on the BBC. I've posted a few bootlegs by this band in the past - this is another top show, so if you like America - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Chuck Berry that was recorded at the BBC Theatre, Shepherds Bush, London in March 1972. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding boot. The second part of the boot is from a show in Finland - also from a tv broadcast rip. Chuck is a legend in rock n roll circles and has recorded many albums and had loads of hit singles - but he has only ever had one #1 single which was called "My Ding A Ling" which was released about the time of this show. Some classic stuff on this one - which is thoroughly recommended.
