He's an annoying, attention seeking egomaniac, rather than a great thinker. That said he does highlight obvious truths that somehow seem to have become lost to people. I suspect he's elevated as 'the voice' of these causes and concerns specifically for the purpose of bringing them down. We should at least endeavour not to fall for that ploy. His highlighting of the New Era housing estate and ideas of community activism actually saved those people their homes. So fair play to him on that.
