Imagine if he's left to be the VP on the Republican ticket.

It was confirmed earlier. After what was revealed about his true opinion of Trump he won't be on that ticket, if it ever gets that far.

Kennedy hated Johnson, still put him on the ticket.

If Carlson was interested I imagine he'd be very attractive to whoever won the nomination.

I think it's unimaginable given what he has said. They would both be constantly reminded of it in today's non-stop media world.

Perhaps, though getting on with people is hardly a Trump talent.

Politicians are always tearing lumps out of each other and then turning around and supporting....they will do whatever they think favours them. Sanders supported Clinton and Cruz supported Trump....though all of them heavily disliked each other.

Maybe it'll be DeSantis....who knows....though the Democrats seem determined to increase Trump's chances of being the candidate.

I can see it working for DeSantis. In fact, that would be a pretty strong, almost unstoppable ticket, to get the nomination if it was announced during the primaries, and very hard for the Democrats to deal with. Given what Carlson has said about Trump and freed from his duty to toe the Fox line, it could dynamite any hope that Trump still has.

I didn't see it coming but it does add up.

Or maybe he'll just go work for Newsmax or become one of those Youtubers....or could he even challenge Trump and DeSantis?

I'm looking forward to all the controversial details that are bound to come out.

Will Fox News survive Carlson? A giant legal bill and now losing their big star.

Carlson is a shouty idealogue who won't listen to any disagreement in the James O'Brien / Dan Wooton syle.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Murdoch controls the narrative, Carlson wether you agree with him or not is the antithesis of that narrative, he had to go.

I actually think this is a win for Carlson & I can see him becoming President one day.

Tucker recently gave a Heritage Foundation speech where he outlined his personal views.

He called out the banks and the selling out of US manufacturing. He called out the MIC and drew attention to the concentrating of mainstream media ownership into too few hands. He criticised the GOP and talked about the political fight in spiritual terms
