Were any of you there the night that the german band Amon duul 2 recorded their live album. It is still avaible today and still sounds pretty trippy.

I'd almost forgotten about the Greyhound. I saw Love, The Faces, T Rex, Rory Gallagher, Status Quo, Juicy Lucy, Yes, and, probably, others. This would have been around 1970-1971. I remember The Faces turning up late and only doing a relatively short set. One of those gigs (not sure which one) was on the same night as England played Brazil in '70 World Cup although they did have a TV showing the game. I'm not sure where my priorities lay then!

My brother had an album by Juicy Lucy called "Lie back and enjoy it"... there was a cover of Whisky in my jar on it........ brilliant!
