He was being interviewed after the game and said " everyone in the ground thought the shane Long one was a penalty" errr no they didn't, they thought he dived. He ran across Gabbidon to initiate contact and was going to ground before contact was made, he should have been booked, but the ref didn't have the balls....

The Hull keeper obviously thought that he was immune from any punishment considering that the ref wasn’t going to card any Hull player. I can understand why he was so angry at the sending off as that wasn’t part of the agreement. Spot on. Not cricket.

As the early foul on Delaney was so early I can almost understand why there was no yellow and the Delaney foul could possibly be looked on as retaliation but these do not explain the foul (again by Long) on Jedi which given the earlier foul was at least a yellow. The O'Keefe challenge does look like a red but after the keeper had rammed Jerome (great game) a yellow was the least that should have happenned plus kicking the ball away and calling the ref whatever he did fully justified it.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

There was a blatant penalty in the second half where O'Keefe had so much of someone's shirt in his hand we could see the fella's UnderArmour. No idea how the ref didn't spot it, but I'm a believer in decisions equalling themselves out over the course of the season (apart from the disallowed goal at Bristol City a few years back) and that chalks off the Tottenham home game (Moxey's "handball" pen).
