I'll bet the Queen nearly had a heart attack when she heard Prince had died yesterday! Fantastically talented musician. Agree with Mr Palaceman that "If I was your girlfriend" is one of his greatest songs... just love the lyrics RIP Prince. Edited by Hoof Hearted (22 Apr 2016 10.33am)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Prince' by Guntrisoft I heard he had AIDS and the Jehovah's witnesses convinced him to stop taking his medication and to trust in God. This isn't a sick joke, just what I heard.

Whilst I agree he was undoubtedly hugely and uniquely talented (could apparently play any instrument he picked up)...his songs were, well, a bit s*** weren't they...lightweight American pop music really...

This isn't a sick joke, just what I heard. Odd, I was talking about how you never hear of people dying of AIDS in the UK anymore, and apparently only about 400-500 people die as a result of HIV and AIDS in the UK in any given year, compared to 15,000 in the USA. I'd always assumed that the US had gone down the same route as the UK, but apparently not. HIV and AIDS is still a major problem in the US.
