Johnny one idea if solutions run out as it's warm for the next two and a half months and people all over do it at this time of year including myself (for a week) so no embarrassment. A decent tent and a decent campsite with showers, a shop, etc. Edited by Kermit8 (15 Jul 2016 8.16am)

I did try to put a post on the BBS on about the 14th of this month nothing came of it, it wasn't put on the BBS. Anyway I emailed them just to find out if I had done anything wrong, didn't get a reply. So emailed them again yesterday still no reply, what happend to the Palace family when someone needs a bit of help. I remember when Palace were in admin and they wanted donations for a game against Preston North End, can't remember the year, I put in my £25 for the boys, yes the Palace family. But never mind won't get my message on the BBS will I..................quite disappointing really ain't it

That's the BBS for you. Any good news on your side yet? Have you looked into the camp site Kermit mentioned? I think it's a disgrace you are having to look at that sort of thing though.

Steph thank you so very much for asking, I don't really think I will do the camping thing to be honest, 68 bit old for that. The next move is to hang around Colchester in my car, live in my car. Whatever I tell Colchester council they seem to put more obstacles in the way. I asked them for emergency accommodation and they told me they have got to check that I'm really homeless before they can do anything. Now I don't really think a geezer of my age would tell them he was homeless if he wasn't. Mind you there are a few scammers.

Buy yourself a cheap pop up tent and kip outside council offices, done this many years ago, come to that say your on heroin get a place just like that. Hope get sorted soon. Any news on almshouses. All best.

All best. Well I got a phone call from Colchester councils sheltered/ retirement housing team this evening and I have an interview tomorrow. So fingers crossed and all that, hope I get somewhere.
