if he passes his medical, I have no reason in why we should NOT sign him. He's a good player, but I dont want him to be our main striker. Pards & Parish said they would bring two strikers in, so hopefully we still nail benteke and get Caroll as well. Along with Wickham i would be very happy with this, even though its all been left far far to late.

We could sign Aguero and it wouldn't make any difference until Pardew elects to change the tactics to include some crosses and fines Delaney for every ridiculous long ball (unless, of course, he's doing exactly as Pardew wants, in which case I'll go away and mutter quietly to myself in despair). Tall, short, fat, thin, old, young - these days it doesn't seem to matter what our strikers are like as we don't give them the ball. Edited by Helmet46 (15 Aug 2016 7.12am)

Ideally we need a striker who is guaranteed to score the one chance he will get every other game.
