No. I always want Palace to win no matter what - especially now as we need the 3 points. The Pardew situation will get sorted out one way or another before the end of the year (before the Transfer window) so lets just get behind the team and take the 3 points.

This is just people talking b*llocks on the internet. No Palace fan will be supporting Southampton tomorrow.
The level of support Palace have got during this run has been unbelievable and, rightly or wrongly, no other set of supporters in the Premier League would have put up with it.
I think the tide will start to turn if we lose tomorrow though.

Not really. I don't pay my money to watch us lose. We also lost last week and don't seem to have moved any further forward for the experience

I definitely want us to win tomorrow. But Pardew has to go. Look at my post history and you will see I have supported Pardew a lot but I have had it with him now; we are not reaching our potential.
If we beat Southampton and then Hull (unlikely) how long before we start another ridiculous losing streak? I think the board have made a mistake in keeping him on for this game as it makes it extremely difficult for them to then get rid of him if we do snaffle a win. We really need the points too. Gah!
Because of my desire to see Palace do well I will of course cheer them on tomorrow, but Pardew has to do A LOT to win back my support.

hoping we win tomorrow, & all remaining fixtures so the sack pardew thing becomes a look how clever we are. Supporting our manager through thick & thin until we're rolling, a class apart from the other disposable corporate prem clubs..
lose tomorrow, however ? - & ill be calling to sack pardew again..

Exactly, and whilst I don't believe in the "I'm a better supporter than you because I have a season ticket" thing, I do wonder if people that are so negative go to games sometimes - I honestly don't think we have been as bad as the run suggests. We've had sod all luck and the defending has been atrocious which I don't think Pardew can take all the blame for.

I go home and away and agree with the last post entirely.
Hope we win the next couple of games and go on a decent run, if its with AP fine if its someone else so be it,I support the club full stop and whoever manages and plays for us has my support.

Now, perhaps the question should whether the team want to lose tomorrow. Despite all the usual guff about how positive the dressing room is and how 'the lads' are all gutted about recent form and how they are pulling together, whether the truth is that many are actually f**ked of with the status quo and would prefer the manager to sling his hook. Maybe they are discussing this matter right now.........

No because he'll get the sack eventually anyway. A win/draw tomorrow may mean a stay of execution. But the writing is on the wall for him. It's not like we're going to suddenly win or go unbeaten 10 in a row is it? Not with him in charge anyway.

I would never wish us to lose, but if it happens I won't be that upset as that will surely be game over. Just said to my Dad in the pub the optimal result for us is a 4-4 draw with us up 4-0 at half time. Would expose our defensive frailties and Pardew's lack of game management while getting us a point.

I think Soton will win tomorrow regardless of how well we play as they have a great team - it's an unfair test on Pardew. I therefore think (agreeing with Willo) the board won't make a decision based on tomorrow's result. I think we'll play better though - valiant defeat 2-1/3-1.

Sort of this. It really doesn't matter what we want to happen in 94-97 mins.
It's like neutrals getting worked up over who wins on tv. What happens, happens.
We will support but what we want to happen is irrelevant. What happens after whatever happens is interesting and out of our say so, unless we make enough of a protest, although it'll have to be big enough to make Parish act because Pardew won't give up millions.
For the record, no I don't want us to lose. Never do, but have sometimes been so bored with the monotony of some of our managers it's been like watching sh1t Sunday evening tv aftera huge hangover.
Rarely do I agree with Mark Lawrenson but he also thinks that if a manager is so bad that he's given 2 matches, why the 2 matches? This is it. 5 year contract. Dear oh dear.
