Man Utd (H) - 0 Just purely because I'm bored at work and people are talking about points I've gone through the league games we have left and the points I think we'll get out of them. I make it 38 points which would have kept us up in the last few seasons but would make for a very tense last few weeks

With a few exceptions (Looking at you Newcastle, Chelsea last year under the special one), the Prem is a capitalist league. You get what you pay for. Our net spend this summer was 15th. I expect us to finish 15th, any higher is gravy. If we spend big in January (I hope we will), we could bump up a couple of places. The difference between finishing 17th and 13th is usually two wins. I think 2 expensive players in January can bring us those 2 wins. The big clubs can supplement this by running good (and expensive) academies. I think this is where Parish wants to go, but it will take years. Same with a bigger gate (and lucrative boxes). a renovated stadium take a lot of time. These things take time, but they provide a real, longterm advantage over the yoyo teams.
