I'm very pro-Allardyce and am glad he has silenced the doubters for now but I have to say that threads like this gloating when we win are as bad as the threads from the fans who don't like him when we lose.

Ultimately we all support the same club.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Feel better now, petal?

It was totally your fault. You got personal and needlesly insulted another poster - I'm actually amazed you've not been pulled up before. The guy's post was irrational but so was your reaction.

As on a football pitch, play the ball and not the man.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Fair point and well said and I'll take that on board for future reference.

And I've just read that back to myself and I come across as some ethnic minority/save the gay, black lesbian whale cnut on the 4:30 am BBC News.
Oh dear.
Publish and be damned then!

If we'd kept Pardew it ruddy well would be.

^^ I wonder if Pards would've subbed Campbell instead of the defensive reinforcements at 1-0.

Except Allardyce.
I love him.

I agree with all of the first line except that kids are ghastly as well

Professionalism - Allardyce or Pardew?

Fitness - Sammy Lee or Johnny Salako?

2-0 to BS and LS. Not even close.

And fair play to Steve Parish for having the balls to acknowledge and act on that. And to back Allardyce in the transfer market in January. Quality and judgement came together, and have made a difference,

The only criticism that could be levelled at Parish is that he didn't act sooner. Although I'm (85%) confident of our survival, it has placed unnecessary pressure on my (and probably Palace's support generally) sphincter.

Putting to one side the merits of pards or sam, to a degree regardless of the results, i hope we get behind and support whoever is our manager, let steve and co make decisions, i just hope we never become like arsenal fans are now, disgracefull , all this about wenger, yeah protest, but not at the games, theres a few other sets of fans doin the same, we are better, at least i hope we are, whilst someone is our manager, he gets my support, when he isnt i could not give a s!!! About him

Arse fans are probably partly responsi le for their getting turned over at the Hawthorns today and if Wesf Brom can do them then so can a team that they themsleves lost 2-0 to at home.
