Was a great era under Ron Noades,am not bitter towards him but he dissapointed me immensly when he sold most of the best players and invested that money outside the club. One thing i will say he was a 100% Palace fan as was his family.

I still feel that Ron did as much bad as he did good at Palace.

That would be the same Uncle Ron who wanted to do away with Crystal Palace and merge them with Wimbledon and the same Uncle Ron who used Palace later on to profit Altonwood?

We DIDNT merge with Wimbledon because it didn't in the end make sense to do so, so that's a moot point. The part re: Altonwood he was entitled as the sole owner of the club to what he wanted...as fans we have a fickle view as to our entitlement to our club and how its run...but unless we find ourselves in a position where we actually own it. Paying ticket prices does not give us that right...certainly not now when it's a far lower proportion of the clubs revenue than it was even 10years ago. He one of the very first Chairman to realise that football was a business, and as a result we benefited...end of. We DIDNT merge with Wimbledon because it didn't in the end make sense to do so, so that's a moot point.
