Cole at his peak was utterly useless so unfit having not played for yonx one can only imagine how bad he'd be. I'd prefer Ladapo, Dann or even McArthur who'd at least harry their back four.

We are surely not trying to sign Carlton Cole, for heaven's sake. More dithering again, by the time he joins and gets fit Benteke will be back. Why can't we try one of the academy players or adapt what we have? We haven't scored to date so what is to lose. Just don't sign more rubbish like Cole etc.....

By defintion players unsigned to,a contract are players no one else wants. Viz rubbish. Signing either Cole or Lambert 3 years ago would have made sense, but none now
