Anyone who can't see that obviously doesn't want to. Every club needs icons and leaders. It isn't just that, WH knows he has more than his fair share of knockers in the crowd. Its made him nervous and indecisive. And that's inevitably made his form slip even further.

Where does RLC come in next week, bench or instead of Jimmy? It's an interesting one, the team has done so well but RLC is so good on the ball it's hard to look past him. Schlupp makes way, I think. RLC can play in that same roving role behind Wilf and Andros, and will be better at it, I think (nothing against Jeffrey, but Ruben is better). That'll give the Geordies something to think about!
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Why didn't we see any of that one touch passing when Frank was in charge? Admittedly we were ok against Burnley, but there still was no one touch passing that I recall in any of his games. FWIW I hope Roy perseveres with it. you honestly cant say burnley was 'ok' ...granted the result sucked monkey balls but the way we played was mesmerizing. Was wonderful to watch.

At their place. Burnley are 7th. Another interesting tidbit: in our first season back in the Prem, under Holloway, we picked up 3 points from the first 10 games (a home win vs. Sunderland). We finished 11th...

Now that we have amassed 2 goals, we are not the lowest scorers eight games into the season Surprisingly, it was Everton in 2005/6 who only picked up 1 goal in spite of finishing 4th the previous year. They didnt hit two in a game until Round 14 They finished the season 11th
