For instance, I seem to recall Pulis was not keen to re-sign Zaha when things were not working at Man Utd. Who did the deal - yes, Parish and look at the player he has become and his value. Yes, clearly there was a problem with the appt of De Boer but to his credit he acted quickly - he knew and saw the problems at first hand and not just the 4 game loss.If he insists on taking a strong position on the sharks that are Agents,and thoroughly checking out players characters, I think that is just sensible due diligence/cost management in the best interests of the club as you would expect from any CEO.He, not alone, but with very significant input has transformed CPFC from what he inherited in 2010. For me, more of the same would not be so bad. Getting behind him, Roy and the players in difficult times is far more appropriate than dishing out a lot of at best half truths - thank goodness he appears to have a fairly thick skin.
