Think it was the Sun that came up with this nickname, I think someone called it? Nicknames are genuinely affectionate. This one was not created affectionately. Still Rupert's Sun obviously understands British values and humour so let's carry on. That's Life And as funny as it may seem Some people get their kicks stompin' on a Dream. KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!

Agree the paste job was spot on. My problem with the Roy, Woy thing is that it was created as an insult. Now as British we create insulting nicknames for our mates, that is true, however the tabloid press and Roy weren't mates. It was a nickname that you use behind someone's back that you don't like, not to their face. The tabloids and Talksport though are quite happy to insult people. It is purely an insult and therefore not funny, IMO. For the record I ain't a Liberal snowflake and don't get offended by anything really. My problem with the Roy, Woy thing is that it was created as an insult. Now as British we create insulting nicknames for our mates, that is true, however the tabloid press and Roy weren't mates. It was a nickname that you use behind someone's back that you don't like, not to their face. The tabloids and Talksport though are quite happy to insult people.
It is purely an insult and therefore not funny, IMO.
For the record I ain't a Liberal snowflake and don't get offended by anything really.
