Ironically I think the media work that Townsend is doing has somehow had a positive influence on his game. He has looked sharp so far this season.

No, he"s not thick, on 60k a week, for having a kick about and a massage every day, game of footy on a weekend, goal of the season with skill at city,(actual goal of season, not commentators goal), if that makes Andros thick- let me know where thick school is!

He's pretty clever for a footballer in all fairness. Knows he will have a future in journalism/ punditry. The thick ones spend all their money on women, booze and drugs and end up as addicts before being arrested for something or other. I'm not best pleased that he knows little about the club, but not surprised as there is no loyalty amongst footballers, except to their god: Mammon.

If midlands gambling post is correct, thats a real shame, imagine having the best job in the world, and having the one addiction to ruin it, needs to knock that on the heed if true!
