Tight game but their defence isn’t anything special so we should dominate that area. They will be targeting us with corners and free kicks so we need to be on the ball defensively. Il go 2 nil Palace. 1 early goal and 1 late.

With their strong set pieces we need to commit fouls up the pitch rather than in the danger areas tonight. Expect to see Luka and McArthur picking up early bookings, which is fine as long as Roy replaces them if it looks like they might be in danger of a sending off. I’m hoping they become more concerned about our attacking than us theirs. It’s the easiest way to take Bowen/Benrahma out the game by getting them on defensive duties. Difficult one to call this so I’m not going to bother. I’d be happy with a point though.

I always feel like WHU see us as beneath them but as a consequence become slightly unsettled by that sense of superiority which bodes in our favour. I'll go 2-1 Palace despite the fact I am an eternal nervous wreck and pessimist. Think we looked very good against Spuds and that result would have left the players on a bit of a high especially with the late goal.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

A draw will be good, a win obviously much better but Kouyate almost managed to give Spurs a win but for the flying Guaita ! He and Milosevic need to be more selective as to how and where they bring people down.

A hard one to call as either team could turn up and perform on the night. Hopefully, it won't be one sided and we'll get an entertaining game.

Tough one. They are much improved on the side we beat twice last year. Our manager's not noted for making radical changes in his team selection and there's always the received wisdom that you 'never change a winning side'. But West Ham away is a different challenge from Spurs at home and I just wonder whether things need a bit of a reshuffle. Kouyate into midfield instead of McArthur, Tomkins back alongside Cahill. Townsend for Shlupp?
