You would have thought that Benteke and Batshuayi would have an abundance of understanding given their history, but not one of them seems to know the other. No one reads the other, no run-offs, knock-downs... I'd have more faith in two academy strikers playing together

Fair point, surely PVA could have helped close him down as LB. Eze wasn't bought for his defensive play, PVA however gets selected in that position for a reason. Fcuked if I know why lol.

Another turgid shower of s*** so far. Like watching 11 Hodgsons on the pitch.

A whopping 1 shot that was off target. The passing accuracy of what can be likened to Stevie Wonder passing to Roy Orbson without his glasses on.

Ah well... Another early exit from a cup competition... Zero interest or ambition on the pitch and now we are one down, we won't have a plan B as usual.and will go on to lose 2-0 I expect.

Shocking defending for the goal by Eze, PVA and Jairo... Thought maybe Butland could of got a stronger hand to it as well.

Literally no link up whatsoever between midfield and up front.

Having watched the goal again was totally Eze fault. Was turned around, resulting in Traore having way too much room.

Palace are simply going through the motions Tekkers and Bats are getting little service Disappointed with Butland with the Wolves goal We are a poor second best - not even a shot at goal no flair or self belief badly missing Zaha and a dismal watch - sadly as always one step forward two steps back

Pva doesn't defend, eze doesn't defend.
Our left side with those 2 is a big issue...

Eze showing yet again why he shouldn’t be selected at left midfield. Why Hodgson can’t see that he needs to play as. Number 10 I don’t know. Tonight without Zaha was the time to use him in that position - grrrr! Doesn’t help that PVA is at left back and goes forward more than Mitchell as well but that shouldn’t matter if selection/ balance is correct which is so wrong at the moment. Would like to loan at the two forwards as well but in truth the midfield aren’t getting the ball to them. Perhaps I’m being hard with 9 changes but before kick off I expected a better performance than I’m seeing?

Even Villa’s U9’s have scored against Liverpool, we haven’t even threatened.

An all too familiar feeling of late cup or not.

 

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

The only player 442 suits is Wilf. With him on the bench it makes no sense, ayew wasted out on the right, Eze the same. Midfield getting overrun and the front two getting absolutely no service. Again. So f*****g boring
