| Andrew Neill looked a bit like an over inflated talking head and it looked like it was being filmed in a shed. I am sure some will lap it up as as a source of absolute truth - but then again some won't. I will wait and see what I think once it beds down a bit.

| It will be interesting to see how well it does over time and what kind of tone they end up settling on. I guess that will be largely ratings driven.

| Good to see the critiques are driven by preconceived opinions, usual suspects as ever. Must grate to have a new channel that doesn't do group think. Can't wait for the reporting on the Batley and Spen by election, or in Labour's case, bye election
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. | |

I agree, your 2nd paragraph could be about any of the news programmes though

"a new channel that doesn't do group think" with sections like 'Woke Watch' and 'Uncancelled' ... hardly a unique take is it? Edited by EverybodyDannsNow (15 Jun 2021 10.11am)

| Sky news had technical issues at first. I understand your fear at having a new news channel, if If I was a Labour supporter I would be very afraid too. Taking an anti woke position is the very opposite of the others, BBC, ITV,Sky, Channel 4 etc. so very much non group think. Edited by HKOwen (15 Jun 2021 10.42am)

I don't have any fear of a news channel, nor am I Labour supporter. It's still group think, just a different group, and one you happen to agree with - it's a long way from unbiased, obviously.

| That's your opinion, and all opinions welcome. Happy to know you are not in the fearful group.
