How is this anything compared to puncheon :/ My point was that they are playing in the same way due to a lack of confidence. Puncheon never got his back. I hope that's not going to be the same for Eze.

We know their respective abilities when they are on the ball. It's when the team is not in possession, particularly given Vieira's quest for a modern pressing game, that their commitment could be called into question.

Apologies if wrong, I thought the original post was about 'commitment'. Those two have squads filled with players who'll run themselves into the ground all day long. Hence they win most weeks.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

He got called up due to his unreal form at end of season not only Sheffield But Leicester Aston Villa and playing in a team where we had no ball. Arsenal he also had a good game. Just coz he got G/a in that Sheffield game doesn’t mean he didn’t play well.

A lot of the time he was fairly anonymous, I thought this was down to Hodgson'a set-up, and to be fair to the lad, this season he's been recovering from a serious injury and hasn't had the game time to shine. Next season we should see what he is all about.
