Given the state the club has been in when we have previously been looking for managers, I'd say that its possible to argue that the club has never been a better proposition, certainly since CPFC2010 took over (even though the bar is pretty low).

We've still got Eze, Zaha, Mitchell, a Cat 1 academy, balanced finances, stable ownership, a new stand coming soon, a stable premier league club. (I may have over egged these points but you'll catch my drift).

There's a number of players under performing and a manager that's seemingly run out of ideas is a great opportunity for someone to come in with fresh ideas and give everyone a bit of a lift.

This applies to Zaha not Roy. Without Zaha we lose. Bottom line. If Wilf were to get a season ending injury we are down. Roy has shown he is incapable of finding a solution to when Wilf does not play. The fate of us retaining our premier league status rests with Wilf not Roy.

There was nothing in my comment that suggested I am anything other than relaxed.
I was merely suggesting that Roy shows no signing of wishing to retire , and that if there was to be a parting of the ways it may be that the initiative would have to come from the club.

I was critical of Roy last season, but feel he has sought to make changes for the better this season and I have also said that I see no point in him leaving during the season unless it looks as if we are mired in a relegation battle and there is a suitable candidate available to take his place.
