Why doesn't he just say "This is it, take it or leave it." Or if your theory is 100% correct, just bin the Benteke deal completely and sign the next best thing?

In rely to my last post above, because we are clearly no longer a second best club. The team we are building of internationals could be challenging for champions league if we get it right. Push on and buy Benteke. We are building a phenomenol squad. Our part owner Americans are worth billions. We have arrived. We've got a great chairman with amazing football knowledge. Good advisors. It's all kicking off. Stadium next. Like Tomkins said we are a massive club. He has seen it. We are going big time. Nothing to hold us back. This is what I've waited 50 years for and it's finally happening. And if it all screws up, well I'll still be Palace!! What a trip. Bring it on SP.

He's been torn apart by 3 posts at the bottom, it's only been online for 2 hours and those 3 posts have just been posted. Each team's predicament will be slightly different.
