She’s an ugly personality but all isn’t what it seems. I think there’s something in the government saving face. If they just let life go on as normal then it would like they’ve made a mistake prolonging this lockdown, or having it in the first place for some. Instead we’re going to have this test and trace and prolong the virus when what we should be doing is isolating the vulnerable and seeing the virus off sooner.

If you watch just one evening news programme you’ll see several contradictions regarding the virus, lockdown, economy and jobs, deaths from lockdown but not Covid (but recorded as Covid), delays on cardiac and cancer appointments and operations. But we still prolong this when the death rate of non vulnerable is so low it is mind boggling how we’re willing to ruin people’s lives and kill other people and no doubt more of them. But headlines rule ok.

Just what exactly do you think a journalist's job is exactly? Play along nicely and let them put across whatever message they want unchallenged and unscrutinised?

No evidence that the lockdowns worked in high population density countries and the poorest will pay the price for the lockdown hysteria.

It’s a completely nonsensical point the test and trace is to divert attention away from Cummings, and you know it. She could have said something else but their obsession with Cummings has damaged their logical thinking.

If she hit him with the lack of testing of elderly leaving hospital and into care homes without testing she could have slam dunked him but none of them are switched onto facts and events other than the next scalp, and that’s because the audience is dropping and finding more creditworthy sources of real information.
