Oh man. It has been shown with genetic testing that the vast majority of Britons can trace their genes back to ancient times. You lefties are obsessed with London. Yes, London has always been more transient and multi cultural but once again, it is not representative.

I'm assuming you mean people living in Britain can trace thier roots back to ancient Britain , as I pretty sure everyone can trace their roots back to ancient times somewhere.
You'll be happy to provide a link that shows the majority people living in Britain can trace their roots back to ancient times in Britain , are they 100% British or 50%,25% or0. 0001%, I would be fairly surprised if the majority did not have any British roots I would also be surprised if the majority had 100% British roots. If you are right, fair play I'll adjust my thinking and agree I have a Londoncentric view if so.

Well here's one link. I'm not doing all your homework for you.
Comrade Kermit suggests that we all have recent "foreign" genes in our families. I say that the influence of exotic genes is tiny in most parts of the country with London being a possible exception.

Science is on my side.

Here we go again...

I mention kids of immigrants, any immigrants, European, Scottish, Irish, Asian, African, etc, in reply to your post and now a few posts on you want to narrow them down to the "exotic" ones only to try and prove your original point.

Bit confused by this talk of a 'block' to Brexit over even a 2nd referendum. Strong inflammatory language again.

Are you on drugs?

You can't even remember what you post, unlike me.

"As we are nearly all the kids or grandkids or great grandkids of immigrants ourselves let's not be too quick to jump on the next generation. It would be disproportionate."

Now you are back peddling faster than the speed of light.

Well it's not really on your side is it? you claim that the majority of Britains can trace there roots back to ancient Britain.
Did you miss the fairly large qualifier of the sample 'study analysed the DNA of 2,039 people from rural areas of the UK, whose four grandparents were all born within 80km of each other' So any one who is from a city or town is excluded, anyone who has one grandparent has moved to an area is excluded.
Of this restricted sample living in the eastern, central and southern England only 10-40% of the ancestry can be traced to anglo-saxon roots, so I'm assuming 60-90% of the ancestry of this fairly exclusive can be traced to other areas
If I'm understanding it correctly it is saying certain genes have a concordance rate to certain areas, not that certain areas have a high concordance of similar genes.

Luckily, I don't suffer from selective amnesia as you often do when questioned.

Tell me, out of your eight great-grandparents were any not born in England? Ireland, perhaps? Is your DNA 100% Anglo as far back as say 1850?

I don't think any of the Royal Family or the Government can, but who really cares!

A bit desperate if you are now including Ireland.

I have one Northern Irish great great grand parent. That is the best I can do for you Kermy.

The odd incursion by non British people has next to no impact on the gene pool outside of London in thousands of years. I know it suits your narrative to claim otherwise. I expect a lefty loon is making up new history somewhere as we speak.

Anglo Saxons are a relatively recent arrivals. Many Briton's genes go back much further. There is a genetic map somewhere.
