I don't know and nor do you.

The only certainty I voted for was escaping from the rule of Brussels.

Oh, ok. It's just that you said it was going to be 'short-term' the financial problems.

When would 'short-term' cross-over into 'long-term'? What would be your limit for the former?

That is all secondary to me. What I do know is that you daft Remainers just want an opportunity to say I told you so.
Well you won't be telling me anything, because if we achieve hard Brexit, I will be happy.

Do you actually think that people want things to go tits up just to say told you so, even if it means years, even decades, of misery?

Some people have very small minds, eh Nick.

Doesn't matter then, i take it, if the 'achievement' of Hard Brexit is successful or destructive in the short-term or long-term in the UK for you?

You can see why so many oppose that way of thinking, can't you? You are playing into the hands of the Remainiacs who want a second referendum, etc.

Go for it.

People had their chance to vote. They voted Brexit.

Any second referendum would spell the death knell for the credibility of British democracy and a huge move to the right of politics at the next election.

I think you over-estimate how many really care about Brexit as much as you Hrolf.

There was massive venting at the Referendum and I reckon being a protest vote amongst the 51.9% was way stronger for many than that of the ideological Hard Brexiteers. UKIP did, after all, gather no more than 14% at the General Election.

There will be a few tuts and groans of 'disgraceful' amongst the army of blue rinses and middle-England and on the council estates but no popular uprising if it all goes 'soft' and we stay in the single market or if, legally, Brexit does not happen at all.

Good news for the 48.1% which is increasing from what I have been reading. Reality is biting.

I'm beginning to think I can see the future.

And it has very little to do with Brexit, more to do with the economy being poor for a long time now.
But no doubt Brexit will bear the brunt from many.
